Enabling Grids for E-sciencE EGEE-III The Workload Management System (WMS) comprises a set of Grid middleware components responsible for distribution and management of tasks across Grid resources. The purpose of the Workload Manager (WM) is to accept and satisfy requests for job management coming from its clients, Enabling Grids for E- sciencE . The EGEE project brought together experts from more than 50 countries with the common aim of building on recent advances in Grid technology and developing a service Grid infrastructure which is available to scientists 24 hours-a-day.
